  1. Great review! It looks to me that the intention is to put quick access items, like phone and snacks, in that top zipper. Is that what you have found? If yes, would you have to remove your cinched item (jacket, pads) every time you wanted to check your phone? That seems like a major nuisance.

  2. Thanks you for your great videos I recently bought a camelbak Repack LR and don’t like it at all. I don’t know if it just takes time to get use to or if it just a bad pack

  3. Sweet pack i use the evoc hip pack pro. That thing is amazing. Has a bladder and holds 2 bottles. Also to adress your bladder tube problem use a id name badge cable retractor. They work amazing. You drink and let it fall.

  4. Nice hip pack. I like the straps for accessories, like you said, for knee pads or something else. Little on the pricey side. I show items like this to the Mrs and she tells me to basically forget about getting something like this.☹ I recently got a Camelbak Flow hip pack. Got it for thirty something bucks. Doesn't have as much storage as this one, doesn't have the accessory straps or a bladder. Uses a water bottle. Very comfortable with the breathable mesh you were talking about. With that water bottle and one on my bike, it is plenty of water for a 15+ mile ride. We'll see how long it lasts. I was going to get the Camelbak hip pack that does have a bladder, but the Mrs was uncomfortable with the price. That one was sixty something bucks.

  5. I’ve never gone the hip pack route but that looks like a great pack. I’ve used the various backpack style packs we all grew up with and true you back gets a sweaty but I keep it light and balanced. One thing that I have personally experienced and feel lucky about my backpack style pack is when I feel on my back off a trail and the pack saved my back. Now my current one has the impact pad.
